Becks still recovering
David Beckham joined up with Real Madrid for pre-season training in Irdning Austria, yesterday but pulled up after 30 minutes of jogging, he was quoted by the website of the sports daily Marca as saying – “The World Cup injury is still bothering me. Tonight the doctors will take a look at me and I’ll find out how long it will take to recover.We’ve got a long time for preseason work and it’s better to start without feeling any pain. Today it hurt when I’d been running for a while and I told the doctor about it”
Unfortunately, it is estimated recovery may take at least another couple of weeks, which will rule Becks out of the game against DC United which we posted about earlier in the week.
