david Beckham Two first half goals by Ruud “Van the Man” Van Nistelrooy secured victory for Real Madrid. It is great to go into the Season on the back of a win! The first half performance was very commanding and a defensive lapse in the second half gave Anderlecht a goal at the 84 minute mark but otherwise it was a convincing display. The sports paper AS made mention of Beckhams valuable passes, he was subbed off for Raul Bravo in the 88th minute after a good game. Ruud will be glad to be on form and I think it’s looking really good for us this season! Bring it on. Full match report here
