I had a smile a mile wide when I saw the above headline this morning, and having read the story I still do. A survey by a games company has found that of a random sampling of England fans, 71% would like to see Beckham play for his country again. A further 54% thought they could do a better job than Steve McClaren. I would just like to say to the other 46% - stop under-estimating yourself! Seriously, it's great to see Becks get this support from England fans, it shows that the respect he has earned on the pitch has not been able to be down-played by the spin doctors operating off it. Best news I've had all week, it's definitely gone some way towards restoring my faith in people!
