We won. That's the main thing. It was a bit of a scrappy match but we scratched out the win and that'll do! We get to be top of the table for a few hours so lets enjoy it!! David Beckham played the last 30 minutes of the game. Unfortunately much is being made of the fact that he began the game on the bench, I think the press is reading more into this than is necessary. I hope Cicinho and Roberto Carlos are ok, the early word on Cicinho is that his injury is quite bad and he will be out for several months, I hope this is not the case and wish a speedy recovery to both

As I mentioned earlier Becks was on football focus yesterday, the BBC have put video of the interview online. It's a great interview with a lot of new info such as which of the players Becks has had good wishes from. Watch the video here the link is on the left hand side.

It has been reported on Fox Sports that Becks has tonsilitis, I get that whenever I'm run down, so I can comisserate, get well soon Becks!
