Real Madrid 4 - 1 Levante
We won 4-1 with Van the Man getting a hat trick! Becks had 2 assists one for Cassano's goal and the second assist was for Ruud's second goal! Cassano assisted Ruud's first goal. Levante played for most of the game with only 10 men but the score was already 2-0 when their player was red-carded and we always looked like we would win convincingly and we did!! I have put a few photo's in the gallery I will replace them with better watermark free ones as soon as they come online! This game was just what was needed for the whole team, to build confidence and for them to have fun while still gelling! Yay! The only bad moment was that Salgado came off injured - hope that he is ok!Official match report and photos

Yeh, i was thinking the same, as i read Lennon might need knee surgery, if thats tru then if mcclown is picking on form and not to pls the media he will drop lumpard and recall becks to the squad, not gonna hold my breath tho but sheesh whos he gonna call up if not becks, ffs, phil neville is already in the team, so we are already scraping the bottom of the effen barrel. Guess we will see Pennant, but ffs hes hardly in the same class.

I'm not a fan of McClaren either but I think we should wait and see what happens, I mean it hasn't been confirmed as yet that Lennon has the kind of injury that will require surgery, so he might well be in the squad for the games in October. Certainly, I agree it will be interesting to see what happens if Lennon is not available but lets wait and see what the situation actually is when McClaren comes to pick the squad. Personally, I of course think Becks should be selected regardless of Lennon's fitness but we all know that isn't going to happen in a hurry
