A good win for Real Madrid was a nice way for David Beckham to join the Champions League 100 club! His 100th appearance came in the 70th minute and although I'm sure he would have preferred to start, while Becks continues to have a role in every match that he is fit for, then he can continue to fight for a starting place. That is of course what he will do and we support him and love him just the same as starter or sub!

Update The main stories in todays news are that Becks has thanked fans for supporting his recall to the England team after a Sun Poll showed 90% of fans would like to see him return to the squad, story here. He also has stated that he would like to stay at Real Madrid, but then he really isn't free to say anything else, which is not to say it isn't true, it's just really until a contract is signed, we won't know the situation.

Tom Cruise has suggested that Becks might have a future in acting story here. I would love to see Becks on the silver screen again!
