David Beckham has earned praise for his performance tonight! I hope this will be the beginning of a change in fortune for Becks who has had a difficult few months. He has as always hung in there and continued to give his everything for the team and so it was nice that Fabio Capello singled him out for praise during the post-match interview. As he did indeed lift the whole team when he came on in the 59th minute and it was good to see Becks get a reasonable amount of time to prove himself, which he did, almost setting up a goal within minutes of taking the field. I hope this means that Becks will be feeling happier as he deserves it!
