Real Madrid 4 - 1 Osasuna
Ruud Van Nistelrooy had a great match scoring all of Real Madrid's four goals! However, sadly it was not such a good night for David Beckham. Not only was he not in the starting eleven but Capello did not bring Becks on as the second sub, until the final few minutes of the game. If this is all he gains from having played so well mid-week, then all that he can do now is wait for the opportunity of a fresh start somewhere else. Official match report and photos are online.
I have put the first of the match photos in the gallery.

Well, that's the reward Beckham got from Capello for his good performance in the last few games - 10 minutes of rubbish time in the league game!
I think Capello had shown us Beckham's place in his team clearly. Unless he really has nowhere to go, I hope that he can leave RM in January as it does not worth wasting the whole season on the bench. His playing is very precious.

I think Becks definitely has places he can go - but I don't know if he will be able to go in January just a timing thing. It will be a shame for him to have to stay with Real Madrid until next May though. There are definitely clubs in the MLS who would love to have him, the LA Galaxy did confirm their interest. I guess the only question mark is final destination and timing but he can't stay in Madrid :(

He's only 31. I think it's still too young for MLS! He is definitely still capable of playing for a top European club!
Anyway, wherever he goes, it's still a sad ending. He used to be one of RM's best player in last 2 seasons! Now everyone will just remember his days on the bench and his time at RM will be regarded as a failure! It's unfair! I really hate Capello and Mijatovic!
