Beckham ‘to leave Real in summer’
David Beckham will leave Real Madrid in the summer, according to the club’s sporting director Predrag Mijatovic.
“Beckham will leave us, we will not renew his contract with the club,” he told Sky Italia television.

The 31-year-old, whose current deal expires in June, has been linked with a host of clubs from England, Italy, Spain, France and the United States.

It was followed by news that David Beckham has been left out of the Real Madrid squad that will travel to Seville to face Betis in the King’s Cup. Squad list. This seemed to back up the earlier news story as David Beckham was omitted for “technical” reasons, whatever that actually means.

However, David Beckham’s representatives have released a statement to say that Mijatovic’s comments were confused and mis-reported and that contract talks are still on-going full story here.
