Posh and Becks have been welcomed to America by President George Bush. Well at least their wax dolls have as part of a display at Madame Tussaud's in New York. AS.com have a video clip of the opening of the exhibit view here. Photos in the gallery. What do you think of the wax dolls? Poor Posh seems to have a spot of jaundice bought on by the lighting, Becks has come off better, but it's no substitute for the real deal! George on the other hand looks slightly more lively and alert than usual (just kidding!) :)
The Mirror is reporting that Victoria Beckham met with Coty in Paris yesterday and that a 7 million pound deal has been agreed to market the Intimately Beckham range in the US Story here
In other product/endorsement related news, Brand Republic confirmed today the reports from last September that David Beckham has been replaced as the Global Face of Gillette by Roger Federer, Thierry Henry and Tiger Woods. However, David Beckham's representatives have indicated a deal to use Becks as part of Gillette's marketing for the US is being negotiated.

I have to say I'd like that "wax" version of victoria better - no attention grabbing, money spending, too much talking woman... hehe (no offense anyone)
I just received a LA Galaxy Newsletter in which it was written that you can Pre-Order the Galaxy-Becks Shirt, but no picture or number yet and it's only available via telephone.

Thanks Ben - that's interesting about the shirt - I got the impression from the Sports Illustrated article that they hadn't yet finalised the colors - are they taking advance orders? Maybe you order now but don't get the shirt right away? Don't know. I've been trying to find out more about this Super Bowl interview - I've heard a lot of different theories but still nothing definite :)

yeap you can preorder now and then have to wait till it gets released.
Since the MLS starts in April I asume from then on you can buy the Shirt "straightaway"
When is the Superbowl ?
Usually I try to watch that game (in the middle of the night here in Europe...) and fall asleep before the funny halftime commercials come :(

hi im a big becks fan from scotland i have followed his career at man utd and real madrid and will follow becks in la galaxy he will be a star there i wish him and victoria and family good luck im visiting omaha in sept and hope to see a game with becks and get his shirt/ god bless becks/
