Bring back Becks
AS.com have a good recap this morning of the efforts that have been made by David Beckham's team mates to show him support and have him recalled to the side, since he was excluded by Capello following the announcement that he would play for the Los Angeles Galaxy, back on January 11. You can view the original story in spanish online here and an english translation here. The article also discusses the financial implications of Capello's decision, hopefully the economics and the team's united calls for David Beckham's return will continue to place the club and Capello under pressure.
Marca have a vote, (go to the Marca.com site main page and scroll down) it asks whether Capello should listen to Guti and recall Becks as far as I can work out, so please take a moment to vote Si!
The broadbase of support for Becks even extends to members of the Levante squad with Left Back Ian Harte saying
A player of his [Beckham's] quality needs to be playing for Real Madrid. He has such ability at set plays and with his passing, and they are suffering without that.Source
It is sad the way he is being treated, but Capello is a strong manager. If any player were to get under his skin then they would be in the same situation.
It's just disappointing, with the career David has had, that it has come to this. But, I think, fair play to him for wanting to leave. He is going over there [to LA] and it's a new challenge for him.

I don't think Capello will back down...too much loss of face...so I hope he can leave early...better than watching all the games in the theater box

oh wow, I did not know that Beckham visits with the team before and after each match---that shows class---even if the coach does not like him---he still goes to the locker room to support his team mates. No wonder his team mates like him, he really is as nice as they say.

Hmmm, it seemed strange that David and Victoria would fly to Nice for a few hours for a "getaway," especially as David looked appropriately angry (given Capello's most recent slurs) in the photos. But reading the U.S. transfer info, I recall that the Nice story mentions Simon Fuller having a house there. I wonder if new plans are being made. Well how could SOME plan not be discussed--if only whether or not there should be a response from the Beckham camp to all that's going on at RM? I suspect they'll give Capello yet a little longer. Even if our ever-optimistic footballer accepts that he won't get playing time under Capello, I still wonder whether he would leave before the end of the season. I'm sure we'll know soon (or that Anna is already preparing a link with the answer!).
I loved the paragraph about Beckham's relationship with the team, during both practice and before and after matches, too. It doesn't surprise me, one of his attributes being that he is a great team booster as well as mentor to younger players, but its nice to know all of the insanity hadn't soured those relationships.

fingers crossed he can join LA Galaxy ASAP :)
These Transfer Rules are highly complicated - even for people (not player agents who are after the quick bug) who work with them and they're different all over the world ...

I read an article on CNN about an unnamed Spanish Club being punished for illegal transfer deals from players that came from Brazil...what club do you think it is?
