Guti wants David Beckham to play
Guti has given a press conference this morning and was asked about the situation with David Beckham (Source) -
Question: You are the second captain. What's your opinion on Beckham's situation?It is good to see Guti showing Becks such support, I am sure the continued friendship and loyalty of his team-mates is helping David Beckham through this difficult time.
Answer: First, I would say David is a friend of mine and that he is a great player. He has chosen a change in his career and he deserves the utmost respect from everyone. We would all like to see him not only training with us but playing as well, but it is a club decision that is out of our hands. We want every player to participate, especially ones as important as David.

Charity Match Tickets

I just take Gutis words with a grain of salt. He has not always been honest and he's a protected madrista darling anyway.
Still he's a lot less a moron than Raul who didn't like Zidane, Ronaldo, Figo and Becks (since they "stole" his limelight and status as the clubs best players)

:) it seems to very cold in the training session...Cannavaro and Beckham seem to be wrapped up from head to toe...
I always saw Guti as a mediocre imitation of Beckham. Guti can't pull off Beckham's passing cross from midfield.

I know this is a silly question with everything else that's going on--but how could David and Victoria fly into Nice on Monday night (and arrive during the day according to pix) and also be training pix on Tuesday morning? Probably an inexact report.
