Although a recall is far from definite with McClaren muttering about "waiting and seeing over the next four weeks", this is nevertheless a positive sign for Becks and a tribute to his incredible determination and tenacity, given all the challenges he has had to face simply to force McClaren to publicly acknowledge he should at least be considered.
