David Beckham's MLS Schedule!

david beckham in the usa

Source - The LA Galaxy Schedule for 2007 is out! David Beckham will visit every city with an MLS club after he joins up with his new team in Mid-July and all LA Galaxy games will be broadcast nationally after his arrival, except for the away game in Toronto schedule for Aug 5. Although Reuters are reporting that David Beckham's MLS debut is most likely to be in the LA Galaxy v Toronto Game, so perhaps if that is the case some arrangement to televise it nationally (and hopefully that translates to internationally too!) might be made.

The complete LA Galaxy Schedule with TV broadcast details can be viewed on the club's Official Site.

Also, just a follow up note, I know some of you checked to see if MLS games would air on TV in your country and were told that at this time there is no arrangement in place, so you might be interested to know you might be able to watch the games live on your computer. I don't have the details for 2007 but you can look at the info for the 2006 season here and the online packages can be purchased from any country. The one proviso is that you would need to have really good quality broadband to watch a live game and get a reasonable picture but the audio only option should work for anyone, anywhere.

Finally, there is a little write up on Becks in the February edition of Soccer America online here.

woah! I'm a little concerned about the number of games in September, that's kinda intense. Otherwise it's cool!

quite "grilling" fixture list !

How cool would that be if we could download the games or watch them live on the web !
I'd definetly sign up.

and thanks for all updates :)

Distances between cities would make it even more intense. I wonder how they will travel. It looks like they would have to fly between the majority. Even two of the cities in the same state (Texas of course), Houston and Dallas, are 400K apart.
At least it is a shorter season.
