David Beckham set to play Champions League
Todays training write up and 3 pictures of Becks are on the official site I have also added a few photos from training to the gallery including some cute ones of Roberto Carlos and Becks messing about. It's good to see the whole squad looking in good spirits and hopefully that will translate to a good game tomorrow!David Beckham was named in the squad list and is expected to start tomorrow in Real Madrid's Champions League match at home to Bayern Munich. Owen hearts Becks
Owen Hargreaves is in Madrid ahead of tomorrows Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and told a press conference that he was hoping to line up against his former captain because -David Beckham has always been an idol of mine and it has been a great honour to play with him and now against him. For me he is the best passer of the ball in the world. He is a true star, and stars like him know how to play in the big games.Well said Owen!

Glad to see Roberto Carlos with the team :) I call him Beckham's unofficial bodyguard, he always protect Beckham when they are on the pitch (from players who wants to hit Beckham) or during their team appearances (from overzealous fans) :) He's a true friend of Becks

Hi Marie :) Yeah, Becks always gets on well with his team mates but the friendship with Roberto Carlos has always seemed a bit special, I like Roberto Carlos a lot, he seems a very genuine guy with a great sense of humor :)
