The LA Times has published a useful article about all the
The official Manchester United site has an article about the March 13, Jubilee Charity Match, including a nice quote from Becks
I'm happy I’m going to play on March 13th. It will be something special to go back to Old Trafford, and I’m really looking forward to it.The Sun also has an article about Becks Old Trafford return. Although both The Sun and The Times have mentioned Thierry Henry as a possible starter, The Manchester United article doesn't mention this but does name Jamie Carragher as one of the players in the UEFA XI along with Steven Gerrard and David Beckham.
In other news the Observer reports that David Beckham may be approached by The FA to be an ambassador for England's bid to host the World Cup in 2018. While Eurosport reports that Ulie Hoeness, Bayern Munich Manager, is ruing David Beckham's departure from European football because "... David Beckham is an extremely gifted football player". Finally there is a good article in Sports Illustrated about David Beckham's prospects for an England recall as the article states, "The problem for Beckham is that McClaren is not the sort of coach who can admit he was wrong", and that has undoubtedly been an obstacle ever since McClaren left him out of the squad in August.
Update: - Today's training report and photos are online here.

About the Sports Illustrated article; after David Beckham's recall for Real Madrid, I say anything can happen in the world of football.

Becks was not included the last time around (Croatia) away despite having played more, and England having big injury troubles so I can't see McLarren include him for the 2 Qualifier Trip vs Israel and then Andorra.
Anything can happen in Football, but I don't see much hope here.

Ben,
The picture is for you :)
Marie,
I agree nothing can be ruled out and I certainly continue to hope but at the same time I think it is realistic based on what Becks himself has said, to accept it's a long shot :) Still Becks is king of the long-shots :)) lol you can never say never with Becks :) Also England was supposed to be romping through qualification and right now they are third in their group, so who knows what will happen :) McClaren might be replaced and with a new manager... a whole new ball game!
