Ronaldinho and Becks team mates
Barcelona have confirmed that Ronaldinho, Puyol, Zambrotta and Thuram will play for the UEFA XI that will face Manchester United for the Charity Gala match on March 13 at Old Trafford.
The European UEFA XI squad list so far: David Beckham (Real Madrid), Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher (both Liverpool), Eric Abidal, Gregory Coupet and Juninho (all Olympique Lyonnais), Ronaldinho, Carles Puyol, Gianluca Zambrotta, Lilian Thuram (all Barcelona).
Manchester United Director, Bobby Charlton said -
“It promises to be a fantastic occasion with Ronaldinho and David Beckham facing our Manchester United team. Every young football fan would relish the chance to see all these great players. It’s one of those rare opportunities to see European football’s finest players together on one pitch, and Old Trafford is the perfect stage.”Source
