Today Capello will name the squad for the match against Real Sociedad. Guti and Pavon have added their voices to the comments previously made by Raul, Casillas, Van Nistelrooy, Salgado and Helguera. There have been votes "encuestas" that have shown there is strong public support for David Beckham. Marca dedicated 2 of their covers this week to the issue. The first cover story asked that David Beckham no longer be left in the stands but in accordance with the wishes of the players, the fans and even the board, be allowed back into the squad. Today we will see if the pleas from the public and the players have had any influence on Capello and if the rumors that others in the hierarchy at Real madrid have requested he change his stance, will translate into a squad recall for David Beckham.
