David Beckham Intense Instinct.

David Beckham intensely instinctA special edition of David Beckham Instinct called "Intense Instinct" has been released in Romania and other select european markets. The promotional material used to date features the same photo used for the launch of Instinct in the US but without the Instinct bottle displayed, click on the thumbnail at left to view a larger version. I am still hoping we might see a new "Intense" advert. The special edition will be released in the US at the beginning of May, more details on the fragrance are online here. You can view the packaging which is quite sharp, just click on the David Beckham intensely instinctthumbnail below.

On the subject of perfume Sean P. Diddy Combs has been bragging that his fragrance "Unforgiveable" smells better than David Beckham's "Intimately" cologne, saying "I smell better than Beckham" - for more on this and a little on his night out with the Beckhams see The Sun story and also you can view a clip and interview where Diddy describes his friendship with Becks at ITN. He said "We just check on each other, make sure each other is all right. We can relate to each other, so it's a real natural relationship. It ain't nothing for the press or the media, it ain't no hype or nothing, it's just two guys that kind of get along all right. A lot of people you meet, they ain't really real, but he's real".

Injury Update

David Beckham trained in the Gym again today and Marca reports that his recovery has slowed, full story here. Becks has indicated he is targetting the game against Osasuna as his recovery goal and that he still hopes to help Real Madrid win a title before he leaves. I know we all hope that can happen for him too!

This Designated Auntie noticed that he looked a little glum in the weekend's various "night out" photos and wondered whether the recovery had set back.
No matter how gracious he is, I also assumed even Becks might not have been inspired to smile for the media moments after it had, once again!, gleefully allowed itself to be used to point a finger at him for England's poor performances. In anticipation, of course, for one more -- WITHOUT him anywhere in the vicinity!! Almost beyond belief if not disgustingly familiar -- but another low blow that had to have hit him were it really hurts now (nod to Syd :( ).
Besides, NO England fan was smiling much over the weekend!
I'm especially sorry to hear that a recovery slow-down was in the mix of what must have been a painful few days indeed. I'll be revving up the best wishes and checking the gallery for a smile or a wicked gleam in the eye during training -- my best diagnostic tools!

Hi Diane,

He will be disappointed but you have to let nature take its course, he's aiming for Osasuna according to Marca I hope he makes that, if he doesn't I admit I'll start to worry about just how bad this injury is but I'll think about that if and when it happens. Fingers crossed for him as always :)
