David Beckham on Football Focus

David Beckham was interviewed by the BBC last week when he launched the David Beckham Academy 'School Zone' website and it aired today on Football Focus. You can watch the interview online here it runs just over 8 minutes and cover some interesting topics. Becks is, as always, very classy in the way he fields questions about McClaren and his continued availability for England. I have also added the clip to You Tube for anyone who doesn't have Real player. The first 20 seconds are very fuzzy but after that the quality is ok.

I read somewhere i think it was written by one of the former England Captains who still played for the England squad after passing on the armband, that Beckham should play to give his experience to the younger members of the team (it was one of the better articles about Beckham and the England squad) Sigh, England draw their match 0-0

There are no posts for March 25 as yet I just added the bbc interview to youtube and updated yesterday's post. There will be a March 25th post later on

Hi Ana, I think that article was written during the first friendly of the England squad after the World Cup, when Beckham was dropped

Another comment on Beckham's interview is how closely he still follows the Premier League :)

Thanks Marie, there were quite a few interesting comments in the interview. I seems to really love the work with kids and I hope it's something that will give him a lot of joy for many years, he probably finds doing something that doesn't have the politics and back-stabbing involved with football, quite a nice change!
