David Beckham SIA Interview
Update - Real Madrid have a free clip of David Beckham receiving the award for his outstanding contribution to British sport online here. I have updated the clip I posted on You Tube to include it, for anyone having any difficulty viewing it via the official site.

I watched the interview on CNN and the clips from Tony Blair and Fergie.

I was a little confused about whether Sir Alex made his comments as a speaker at the ceremony (did he even attend) or was that a random quote, or call for comment? Anyone clearer than me?
His remarks really mean a lot and, as I've said, open the way for an ongoing relationship for Becks as an integral ManU alumni in the future--a role others have played over the years and I'm sure means a lot to him.
A wonderful honor and deserved accolades.

I watch a clip of David Beckham on ESPN Sportscenter Asia on the award ceremony, when Beckham was in the podium and said that he would always be available to play for his country he had to stop speaking because loud applause followed.

Hi Marie, that's nice to hear, thanks for sharing that as I ahven't been able to see the whole of his speech, unfortunately!
I've added the Real Madrid clip to you tube so that all the clips are together now but if you can access the RM site ok then the clip on there is slightly better quality than what I was able to get uploading to you tube.

Becks hair is lovely and versatile. He was sporting two hairdos last night.....so that is extraordinary .....His face is just gorgeous. Beautiful as always. Thanks for the added pics.

Thanks for the video clip. He looks GOOD and his hairstyle is looking good in the SKY and Reuters clips. Becks as always......fashionable and unique.
