Thanks for the clip! Puts a lump in me throat, seeing the lad back home. I think Fergie was wrong but it's all in the past now no point dragging all that up. Just glad he got a big send-off.

Thanks so much Anna! A memorable moment all through. He seemed as happy as moved to be out there again. Long awaited, and so important for him and fans (and even him and Sir Alex) now that he's off on next adventure! I've also thought this homecoming paves the way for him to stay involved with the club like many of their valued players have over the years, to the extent either desire of course. Starting already with recent MUTV interview?
p.s. That boy certainly does "clean up nice," as we say over here. Suit and wearer looked great!

Syd, I agree about who was wrong, as well as that being in the past. But the two were important to each other and from what Becks has said, if peace has truly been made between him and Fergie, it has hopefully healed some wounds...

It was great of the wonderful Becks to come and thank the club but really we should be thanking him. He did a lot for the club, was a great player, was great for business and gave us all hours of entertainment and fun. I wish him all the luck and happiness in the world. Bless you Becks!! xoxoxo

great video. This video almost brought me to tears. Seeing Beckham receive all the love that he made us, the fans, have for him is amazing. I loved seeing him very happy because he got to go back to his beloved home and say bye to his fans and to his team. Also he did not seem badly hurt so maybe he will be playing sooner than expected.
