The papers this morning are full of stories about Becks and his new “do”. The Daily Mail reports that he has gone for the look as he and Victoria are scheduled to complete a photo session with top photographer Stephen Klein for America’s fashion bible W, full story here.

AS Diario went with a picture of David Beckham on the cover (view) and reported that the new style was especially to celebrate his return to the starting line-up. They also mentioned that his team-mates are now referring to him as “Canizares”, a reference to the Valencia Goal-keeper who also sports bleached blonde hair, a translation of the story is online here. David Beckham joked with reporters as he left training yesterday, “I like to change and with short hair I wanted to do it – although I’ve had the mickey taken out of me for it”, source.

Thanks to Sieniestro total here is another cute video of David Beckham kidding around with his team-mates at yesterday’s training, click here.

AS.com also carries an editorial by Guillem Balague where he praises the difference that David Beckham makes to Real Madrid and praises his quality as a player both in terms of his skill at passing and crossing but also in terms of his fighting spirit and determination. The column is in spanish but you can translate via your browser or babel fish translator.
