Finally, Sergio Ramos (Source) and Ruud Van Nistelrooy (Source) both praised David Beckham's contribution to the second goal in their post match comments. You can also see them celebrating the goal with Becks in the video above.
Ramos said: "Beckham made it easy for me and I congratulated him in the dressing room. With players like him, it is very easy to do things well."
"It’s been a long time since someone gave me such a good pass”
Van Nistelrooy said: "David Beckham is a great player. The public want him here because he has played well. Today we have all played well. It is important to continue like this. If we play like this everything is possible."

Quick note from U.S.:
Even though my last comment was longer than half the articles sited (OK, I've been a little excited after getting to watch the match instead of read it), I wanted to let non-Stateside readers know that the mainstream MLS blogs are buzzing with their awe of Becks. Over and over again people expressed disbelief about how anyone could have suggested Becks' game might be or have ever been on the downslide (I enjoyed the one that classified all such U.S. journalists and bloggers as Eurosnobs who wanted to sound like they knew something about football :) !). I was impressed at how observant they were about Becks' role and specific plays. They noted every pass and even discussed in detail who on the Galaxy might be capable of finishing when in receipt of such.
Even though these are already "soccer" fans, they are certainly a group that Becks would be needing to win over. As we expected, that has only taken a glance. Its great timing for both the fans, who universally like to plan their fantasy formations, and for Becks whose game will be understood by at least that group before he gets here.
Yesterday's match ended between 3 and 6pm in the U.S., depending on time zone, so the chatters had plenty of time to be busy. After a little reading it dawned on me that those here interested in soccer might be more knowledgable than I thought because they have to make more of an effort, or because they are still either playing or coaching.
Nice to see.

I haven't had an opportunity to watch a game at a bar or with a group of people ( :( close friends aren't sports fans) but'i'll try to catch one of these last games before he comes over and I'll definately be going to one of the Rev's games when he comes.

In la liga Villareal won and so they're lined up again 2 points separate the top 3. RM should have been free and clear lets hope they can still win it so that the season end analysis isn't everyone crying into their beer about refs!
Becks had a blinder he was the difference, him and Guti
