David Beckham and Ashley Cole are having a stare off!! Who knew Becks could do that with his eyebrow :) Now that's talent! I've added a few caps to the gallery.

Todays training report is on the official site and photos are in the gallery, David Beckham has dyed his hair platinum blonde. As you can see in the photo of him arriving at training. He kept his hat firmly on his head during the session (it was raining) and received a lot of ribbing from his team-mates.

That's right Marie, there's no need to erase it Diane as it's a very accurate reflection of the series of events. I haven't had time to post more and I infact toned what I wrote down a little because I didn't have time to explain what I meant to people who haven't followed this day by day since last October but for those of us who have such as yourself Diane, it is hard to listen to such a weak excuse and see history re-written based on an extremely selective memory!

Anna, you are doing a great service in accentuating the positive. You have been very clear and informative all along about this year of nastiness from RM. We could all spend the next six weeks crying in our soup so its good to come here and see all the great stories about Becks...its the up side of people not knowing what they've got 'til its gone -- oh no, there I go again! the thing is, no matter how messed up the issue is, i can still appreciate trying to leave things with him on a better note. they messed up, and the excuse may not be the best one. but, for myself, i at least appreciate something being said.
i don't know lots of teams in all of sports that would say, we messed up, publicly. i honestly think, david might apreciate that too. he's so damn positive, he just might.

You are right in that sense, tanique, it is one more unique positive that comes to a person who goes out of his way to remain that way, and I'm sure he does appreciate it.
On the lighter note, that man can NOT be left with a day off to sit still during exciting times!!! Platinum? Can't wait to see...at least it looks like he's having fun with it:).

well I can't claim to be a huge fan but luckily there's a lot more to Becks than his hair. For what it's worth, the signs are - from the training pics and clip - that he was pretty determined to keep the hat on, suggesting that he may not be completely happy with it himself? In which case there might be modifications lol who knows it's just hair :) My Dad always says the difference between a bad haircut and a good one is about 2-3 weeks :)

Becks has said in interviews over the years that he can't stand doing nothing -- the implication being anything over 10 minutes -- and that he doesn't need a tremendous amount of sleep. Can't imagine these anxious days (positive or negative) make sitting still for a moment any easier. That CLEARLY leaves too much time on his hands...long tattoo, drastic hair cuts, I don't know...
Marie, we need you. You have said that Becks changes his hair during times of transition, so I'm looking for your analysis!
In the meantime, I'm not that bothered one way or the other as long as his GAME looks the same as it did last week!! And if a little cut and color keeps him smiling...

i think for becks that tattoos and hair-styles are forms of self-expression that he seems to use more when he is going through emotional or difficult times so i think all these changes are a side effect of his leaving madrid and goin to the states and so i think we should be patient and not criticize too much

uhoh you might not like this but the pics on justjared were taken from this site he has cropped them so they cut off your tags if he had the originals he wouldn't have had to crop them exactly where your tags were its pretty obvious... look sry to be bearer of bad news but the better the site the more it gets ripped off thats the internet... But pls don't close your cool site just put big tags on things like others do.

About his hair. That's not the first time he does it. He did it for a magazine photoshoot ages ago. In 2002, if I'm not wrong. He was the cover of this magazine. I bloody forgot the name of the magazine. :-S

This is an amazing amount of work, not least of all the judgement calls that you make so carefully on every topic and everyplace on the site.
