David Beckham to receive award
The Sun reports this morning that David Beckham will receive a special award for being the Greatest Briton Overseas and that it will be presented to him in person at the Greatest Britons award show tonight in London. The show will be aired on ITV1 from 9pm.

also, i've realized you really have to luck out with your football commentators. i wanted to mute that guy 10 seconds in. i did enjoy him with the carlos goal though.

That's Canada's Tommy Smyth with the brogue, gets a lot of criticism, he's rarely evenhanded, and when he's excited about one of the teams he really goes crazy. Which can be fun unless you're a fan of the other side or need a moment of silence :-) . He's been nuts over the RM comeback and Becks.

Kate the presenter, when making a speech begged David to come back onthe national team on everyone was cheering
When Helen Miren received her award she said she was very happy ' let alone be in the same room as David Beckham' n he was blushing lol

thanx 4 the photos are there any of him arriving at the airport on his way there? Posh can't get within a mile of an airport without the worlds supply of film being at risk of running out...how come he seems to slip in and out of the UK under the radar? or are there photos of him passing by heathrow to come or summat?...jus wondererd

Any new photos of Becks that I know about are always in the gallery I haven't seen any photos of him arriving in London just the red carpet pictures from the event, sorry.

He came with a private jet so he probably landed somewhere private(maybe the fields behind the beckhingham palace lol)

The commentator is a completely madridista or he is a completely Beckham fan. Better stay with the second. The weird thing about hearing the comments in english is the fact that the narrator don't scream: Gooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllll!!
