Posh and Becks interview
The Sun have a small interview with David and Victoria Beckham this morning. Becks mentioned his new hair style, saying "I was a bit bored during a photoshoot so I just asked them to shave it all off. I’ll probably keep it like this for when I go to LA.” Read the interview online here.
AS.com reports that David Beckham is expected to return to the starting line-up to face Recreativo Huelva, along with Robinho who also returns after serving a one match suspension. According to AS, Capello has been impressed with David Beckham's recent performances against Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao and so will start him on the right of midfield rather than Higuain.
Real Madrid President Calderon was interviewed on Cadena SER following the club's successful weekend and praised both David Beckham and Roberto Carlos for their contribution to the club. Full story here. I am glad to see Calderon giving credit where it is due.
Good news for all China based fans, Tim Leiweke, CEO of AEG, the owners of LA Galaxy has indicated the club will announce plans to tour China shortly, details here. The Guardian also has more comments from Tim Leiweke on the LA Galaxy's future plans.

Here is a clip to celebrate Real Madrid going to the top of the table as we head into the last four weeks, hoping for the best and keeping the faith! You can see David Beckham's big smile when Higuain scored the winner against Espanyol about 3.5 minutes into the clip.

How do you get to see the training report and pics? I cant find them, do you have to have a password and log in? Cos I dont.

you don't need a password or log in just click on the word site - it's an active link, the page will open from there :) If that doesn't work for you for any reason just go to www.realmadrid.com - the training reports and pics are posted on the site everyday that there is training :)

Hi Anna,
I finally discovered why I used to have the same problem opening the training report through the link provided here. It might not be true for everyone, but if I have the RM site set to open in English sometimes the Spanish version is posted first and the translation shows up later. In that case I just get taken to the home page with no training report to be found. But if I change the language, I can view it.
If your link doesn't take someone to the report, they can try clicking on the Spanish language button. It shouldn't be hard to tell which is the training report even if you don't speak Spanish, and you can at least look at the photos--and probably figure out the injured list--until the translation is up in English, occasionally not until next day for me.
****I don't know if I'm going to stop bouncing at all during these four weeks!!!

lol sorry I am always set to spanish because they update the spanish side of the site hours before the english side and somethings are never posted on the english language side at all so I gave up on the english page a long time ago sorry :)

Anna...the first time you didn't credit a "source," it was you! I had to pay attention to work for awhile (remember promise to be good for rest of year, lol) so I just made the discovery. You did a GREAT job, first or millionth time!!! At one point I wondered whether it was going to be credited, at the end, to Adidas or some other sponsor doing a tribute because it was unusually well done, and then I forgot to ask when I was rushing out. Definitely another potential career in the offing!!!!!!
(Plus, now I don't have to worry that the owner will pull it off of youtube so that I can't watch it at least a couple of times a day :-D ).

Thanks for the golden foot info Loredana. The website seems a bit strange to me, they have advertising everywhere and affiliate links through which they are trying to sell shirts etc - I really don't know how legit it is, if it's truly a legit organisation then it's a terrible website but either way, I'm still happy to encourage people to support Becks as I would with any site having a poll :)

yup ana, the video's great :). I personally liked the one where Becks emerged from the dug out on his first game back after the team imposed exile. the commentators aptly called it "like a Phoenix rising from the ashes..." and of course the "rockstar" moment which I think would be played over and over again together with his trademark free kicks for years to come.
