Real Madrid won and remain leaders! David Beckham played an excellent match and provided the assist, in the form of a brilliant cross, for the first goal. It is nice to see a quote from David Beckham included in the post-match comments published on the official Real Madrid site, he said -
"It has been a difficult game for us, now we have only three more games left to the end of the league".First of the photos are in the gallery.
"For me, Roberto is an incredible person and has made a great goal"
Seems a good time to bring the "all fired up" celebratory video back to the top of the page too!
El Pais have praised David Beckham's current form and are predicting his recall to the England national team following his recent contributions to Real Madrid, story here. In recent days more and more newspapers are tipping a recall, with The Times and The Sun also suggesting David Beckham may be included in the England squad for the friendly against Brazil. Let's hope there predictions prove accurate!

I am soo freaking happy! Hala Madrid! It looked like a tough game
(from what I read lol) and I'm very glad David provided the first assist! It would be nice to see David recalled for England, though I doubt McClaren would do it.. David has played very well and its nice to see him in tip-top form! Thanks hun!
