Speedy recovery Becks!
As many of you know David Beckham sustained a knock during yesterday's Estonia 0 - 3 England match which affected his left ankle.He has now checked in with the doctors at Real Madrid and it has been confirmed that he has a left ankle internal ligament sprain. Unfortunately this puts him in doubt for Saturday's game away to Zaragoza. He will have complete rest over the next 48 hours and he will receive medical treatment and physiotherapy. During this time his progress will be monitored. He will travel with the team according to Marca and a final decision on whether he can play will be made on Saturday. The training and medical report in english is online. Here's hoping Becks gets well soon. Please say a prayer for his speedy recovery.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy spoke with the press earlier and backed Becks to recover in time saying, "I hope he gets better. David wants to play the last two matches that he has left with Real Madrid, and I know he will with that mindset. All footballers want to play for their respective national teams, and it's a part of football that can result in injury. Beckham has been very important for us down the home stretch and he wants to leave here with a title. It would be a dream come true for all of us."

Poor Becks if it's not one thing it's another! What did he do break a mirror under a ladder while a black cat was passing!!

it's gonna be a pity if anything happens to him, especially this period. it's was all so perfect to be true.
but people let's think positive and sent some optimistic messages.

! These are terrible trials for him, but at the same time they render it more strong. Samuele and Gabriel before going to bed have put him in their prayers. We must pray and hope. Loredana

Of all the times for this to happen to David :( I have no idea how he was able to play on that for so long.. hopefully he will get better ASAP, but that would be a miracle. I don't want it him to worsen the injury by playing on it if he isn't fully healed. Thanks for the updates Anna!

How could he play on it for so long? Well he was hobbling and visibly in pain for most of the first half. Then at half-time they gave him a shot and he looked like he'd shaken it off in the second half but he hadn't he was just full of meds. Thats how. He shouldn't have played so long on it but it's too late to change it.
