Thanks Anna... I think the lad will be fine with the heat hes always had really top notch stamina and Spain is pretty warm in August its hardly a cold climate so it may be hotter but he'll adapt. I wonder why MLS breaks over winter and plays at the hottest time of the year?

Syd, I think the mls breaks in the winter breaks in the winter because of the weather and because its also the heart of the NFL season which has more dedicated fans who would sit in the freezing weather and also kids have more opportunities to go to soccer matches during the summer and less competition from other sports.

the la galaxy must be peeing their pants with excitement...they've had more and better publicity in the last 48 hours than they had between 96 and 2006 combined LOL
I wish people would stop saying he's being paid, he might be worth the money blah blah blah - he is gonna pay LA Galaxy not the other way round. You don't win the lottery and talk about how much you had to pay for the ticket. Get a clue people. He made far more for Madrid than they paid him he made far more for Manchester than they paid him and now hes gonna make far more for LA. His pay is simply a share and the gauranteed part is simply a down payment be grateful people be very very grateful. You struck paydirt and if you can't make americans like the sport and pay attention now well then you can give up and go home cos this is your best chance ever.

Seems the Americans were really charmed by him... he does have a lovely manner about him. It's nice that they were struck by how accommodating he is. I think Becks is very special in that way. A beautiful man inside and out

yes, that was a GREAT analogy. i'm officially on information overload. there are just way too many articles. he's been analyzed, up and down, backwards and forwards.
