David Beckham @ All-stars game

David Beckham was unable to train today but there is still some suggestion he will make a cameo appearance in tomorrow's friendly against Chelsea to appease fans and TV demands. The final decision will be made at game-time. For more on this there is an interview with David Beckham in the Globe and Mail online here. It's well worth a read. David Beckham attended the MLS All Stars game in Commerce City, Colorado, tonight photos are in the gallery.

The Times reported that David Beckham attended the game between the MLS All-Stars and Celtic as a special guest of the MLS Commisioner. He took a private jet to Colorado with Cobi Jones and Landon Donovan, LA Galaxy's representatives in the MLS All-star side, after spending several hours greeting hundreds of schoolkids at his soccer academy at the Home Depot Centre. Becks told ESPN in his half-time interview (above) that he would not start for LA Galaxy in the game against Chelsea this Saturday. However, he still hopes that he might make an appearance as a sub depending on how his ankle responds to treatment today, for more on this and also the clubs comments story here. Anne the article describes the Beckham man; he has the contagious smile. Famous being has not transformed he is remained the genuine boy who we have always admired. In Italy they are convinced that it to LOS ANGELS will not make more the life from professional (does not know the true David). Many challenges wait for David and it will exceed to them.

he didn't train, he shouldn't play. No ifs no buts no maybes. It's a friendly. If he plays it won't be for footballing reasons and it will prove conclusively that hes gone to a mickey mouse club in a mickey mouse league who are unprofessional and just want to make a buck

Hello to all! Also we are in agreement if it completely is not recovered does not have to play (in the Real has played with the pains but the Liga had to win). He is not corrected to make it to only play for image reasons that would give to reason to all those that say that the Galaxy wants to only take advantage of he and that would be for frustrating he. If he can't even manage light training with his team mates ahead of a game then it's actually impossible to hazard a guess at what risk x minutes might pose... or whether this would set his full recovery back another week or more. It's all about risk management and how you decide what risks to take and for what reason.
Just ask yourself if this was a friendly for Real Madrid or for Manchester United would he play, would any new signing be introduced despite injury for any European club? If you have any knowledge of football you'll know the answer and then the question becomes so what kind of a club is the lad playing for.

IN EUROPE a soccer player injured person would not play one game friendly (of luxury but always friendly). The Galaxy has the guilt of to have said with certainty that it would have played against the Chelsea.We knows how much he is intelligent, therefore he will not risk uselessly.
