David Beckham's Soccer USA
Update - Apologies if you tried to use the Gallery earlier. My host disabled it because the amount of traffic viewing photos was causing a server meltdown. I am performing some maintenance on the database now and normal updates will resume when it's all done! Sorry.
David Beckham's Soccer USA debuts tonight! It will air in the US on Fox Soccer Channel at 9PM ET and in the UK at 7.15PM on Five! The 13-episode series will begin with Becks debut match. The remaining episodes will focus on a different MLS tilt each week, and will include video highlights from Galaxy games and Becks personal life; interviews with him and others from MLS; as well as special segments about his life leading up to his trip to America and what he plans to do now that he's there. Thanks to Duyen Vo for sending in this article on it. As previously mentioned, the 13 part series will also be available on MLSnet.com I will be keeping an eye on the site and will let you know when the first show goes online.
Hopefully the show will draw a good audience! David Beckham's MLS debut drew the highest ratings ESPN have ever had for a soccer game with approximately 1.5 million viewers tuning in and significantly it was a Saturday night ratings winner for men in the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics, more here.

David Beckham and friends (including former team-mate Phil Neville) and family watched LA Galaxy chalk up a win in the first game of the SuperLiga. There are some very cute pics in the gallery. I've never understood how they work out ratings...its all too high tech for me.
Glad to see he is resting up and that the LA Galaxy were able to get the win.

I watched New Beginnings last night. I thought it was great and showed what a down to earth man he is. Amazing all things considered!! :-) I think the Soccer USA show is on here tomorrow?

Galaxy vs Pachuca
I'm slowly getting used to the early morning games (usually around 4-5am central european time)
The Team looks much more like a unit now and there are already showing character not to give up (what will really go along well with Becks and his style - refusing to give up, believing and going for it till the end)
Slowly the passing and running paths are clicking together wheel by wheel to get the motor of a strong team running better and better.
I think the main reason for the change of fortunes is - that since some (albeit not many yet) games the galaxy played with the same formation and mostly the same starting XI.
the young centerback Ty Harden (3) is steadily improving next to the ever outstanding Abel Xavier (17) - Kelly Gray (22) who's was only playing his 3rd or so game - is always free to receive the ball, hassle the opponent and regularly pushed into the attack and tries some shots from distance. Martino and Cobi are quick and have good vision albeit both are probably not fit enough for full 90 minutes.
Further Donovan (10) and Jazic (4) are back from their national team duties and as all players coming to terms with so many changes in personel.
I for one look forward to the next games, not just because Becks will have a more likely chance to take part in them - but because I think this team can climb the tables and make many of us very happy.

lol nothing wrong with the link Phuong but the gallery was disabled by the hosting company - again - because they claim my traffic is to high. I don't know what to do this site doesn't make me any money so I can't spend any more than I do but the traffic levels now are too high for the site.

I saw it, there was a bit with some golf guy sorry wasn't sure who he was and they had a general MLS thing with all the goals and the good bits were they showed Becks being interviewed and he was so looking so fine and came across real excellent as always =)
