According to ESPN David Beckham had a scan on his injured ankle last weekend and the results were positive with medical staff advising that there is no long-term damage and Becks is thought to be on track to make his US debut later this month, most probably in a friendly against Chelsea on July 21. He will fly to the US next week after making an appearance at the David Beckham Academy in London, ahead of his official presentation as a Los Angeles Galaxy player next Friday.

I am very relieved about the ankle!! Thought there was still a little limp on Sunday...and the summer/fall schedule is going to be tough.

I have bad news to tell you. David Beckham did not win the who's now poll on the Espn. however the outcome of the result was quite surprising L.T. got 50.8 and Beckham got 49.2. I was a bit disappointed with the outcome but anyways the result was not that bad. Corina
