There is a good match report online here. It was also nice to see Becks receiving strong support from his team-mates with Ty Harden telling reporters "He showed a lot of character, a lot of courage, to come out and play when he's not 100 percent fit. Everybody was proud of him for doing that. But we're glad he got out of there without any injuries."

Finally here is my favorite quote from the documentary that aired last night 'David Beckham: American Dream'. Becks said "Brooklyn and Romeo have learnt Spanish. Brooklyn is almost fluent...Romeo is the middle child, so he has a bit of a different personality. He thinks he's fluent, he jabbers along...They're great little boys. I turned around to them once and said 'where's your favorite house?' Is it Spain? Is it the house in England? Brooklyn just turned 'round and said 'Daddy, wherever you and Mommy are. That's our favorite house.' They're happy boys." Isn't Brooklyn just the sweetest little guy ever! So cute :)

if you get a chance to see david's documentary, see it. it was a REALLY good one. he was quite candid, and those two always have good specials.
the bit about romeo thinking he is fluent ws too funny, and the part with Real, was really emotional. it's still sad to see footage. we also got a bit of the footage david took, on the bus, with his own camera. really good interview.

the boys seemed to really well grounded, I remember a few years ago during one of the press conferences for Real Madrid and Beckham was asked about his boys, Beckham said that the boys are happy as long as they are with either with him or Victoria, they do not mind all the moves, the media, as long as their parents are with them :). How cute was Brooklyn, making baby Suri laugh :) he really is a good big brother :)
The attention in the US is just overwhelming, I hope it dies down soon for the family's sake...but if it does, I know I won't be able to see anymore news on the Beckham's football...its a double edge sword.

I missed the match on tv =S so thanx for that clip of Becks..glad the crowds love him. Also saw the pix of him on the ground in pain..it must have been a hard tackle whatmore with his injured ankle *tsk tsk tsk.. praying that the ankle will heal really soon ;)

i missed the 1st half of the documentary. it was so emotional for me. love the quote! brooklyn, romeo and cruz are all so cute. its nice to see they are all grounded. i hope David and Victoria will have a great time the party.

Siniestrototal the documentary that is on ITV tomorrow is the same as the one that aired on ESPN Anna posted some articles about it over the last couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to watching and recording it!

Hi Siniestro - yes it is the same doc showing on ITV as it was made by 19 entertainment, Simon Fuller's company and sold to both ESPN and to ITV. It's also online as a torrent now in mp4 format - the qulaity is quite good - and it has a really good interview with Becks so it's definitely one to watch on TV and record if you can but if it isn't screening where you are then this is quite a good quality alternative :)

Don't know if this is the right place to post....
Regarding the 2007 Golden Foot, I read somewhere that votes for Beckham is lagging behind.....in 2nd place after Milan's Paolo Maldini about a week ago.
While I understand that we cannot count on the support from ManUtd and Real Madrid fans (I believe that they all vote for Giggs and Raul in this occasion), I wonder if popular Beckham fansites like this one (personally I think this is the best Beckham fansite I have visited :P) can arouse Beckham fans' awareness of this election again......
Just my humble opinion....Hope you do not mind....Please just ignore me if you find my suggestion inappropriate.
