David Beckham Harlem Interview
The LA Times has a video of David Beckham being interviewed in Harlem yesterday following a youth soccer clinic. Becks spent the afternoon coaching 33 teenage players from the FC Harlem Lions team and having a great time, details here. You can watch it above or see a smaller clearer version online here. David Beckham New York Presser
David Beckham is really enjoying his New York visit he told reporters, "This has been one of the best days I have had since I arrived in America", referring to the clinic involving kids from Harlem Youth Soccer. It showed as he seemed to be in a very upbeat mood at his New York press conference watch it below -Part two of the press conference - watch it here

NY Red Bulls v LA Galaxy preview
A crowd of more than 60,000 people are expected to watch tonight's MLS match at Giants Stadium which will kick off at 7.30PM ET. LA Galaxy desperately need 3 points to keep their hopes of making the MLS Cup play-offs alive. David Beckham is considered 'likely to start' and told reporters, "I'm feeling good. A little bit tired... but I'm ready for the game (today). Hopefully my ankle will hold up like it did the other night." You can view match previews here and also here. Where to watch - The match will be televised on FSC and FSE. It will be available on MLS TV for those of you who subscribe as it is not being shown on ESPN. I will also post a link to anywhere else I find that the match can be watched live online at game time.

Tanique - Yeah I've gone back to using youtube because the quality on Youtube has been good lately I added some of the Beckham documentary to Daily motion and to You Tube and youtube was less fuzzy I don't know if that's cos they got better or because dailymotion has gotten worse lol also the upload speed is twice as fast :)

Ciao to all! Finally we have reparred the computer. With calm this evening to the return to house we will watch all the news. We are much happy for David, also in Italy it is spoken so much about the beautiful goal and of the final caught up from the Galaxy, Anne we hope to succeed to see the game because even if have the season - ticket we are not resolutions to see now until no game. In fact we believe that also this night (Italian hour) not broad-cast. We hope to succeed to see it with your aids. For U.S. viewers, it looks like the game will not be on mls tv, as they are showing the D.C. United vs. Columbus Crew game at that time.
Fox sports have the exclusive rights to the game, as you mentioned on FSC and FSE (FoxSports Espanol). But you have to pay extra for that television service and your cable provider might not even offer it in parts of the U.S.
If I can find a rogue outlet showing it online, I'll be sure to share w/ you as well.

wat i dont understand is why do they have david giving the pressers n not donovan?... anyway i hope he has a really good game today but his schedule is tyt, i hope in the future something gives :)

wow what a first half!! Well if part of the aim is to convince casual soccer fans that it is an exciting game worth following then they are doing really well with that! With it being 2-2 (2 assists for Becks!) but from an LA Galaxy point of view NY tying it up in the last minute of the first half was a bummer :(

i'm happy with ny being up. BUT, la had a solid first half. i just said, i think both teams have lured 66,000 people in. if i went not knowing much about the game, i think i'd want to stick around for awhile.
so, hopefully fans will continue to support ny. it's great to see becks playing so well. and as i write, GOALLLL. 4-2 ny.

5-4 now wow. To be fair NY is the better team eleven against eleven. Still I really feel for Becks he's not match fit the ankle is bothering him, he has never played on this kind of surface before and 2 assists plus a third goal really coming from a Becks corner - he's done about as much as he can for his team... I hope they can grab an equaliser. LA really missed Xavier he is Galaxy's best defender by a mile.

great game for the league. solid game for NY. but la played a really nice game. they fought, and gave themselves chances. so, there are definitely positive things they can take away from the game.
as a fan, it was an exciting game to watch.

I agree it was a great ad for MLS, very exciting game and the 66k will have gone away entertained :) but LA Galaxy do have to look at their defence I mean REALLY look at it because theres great attack and then theres the gift that is weak defence :)

oh, there are certainly things for them to work on. they've got a ways to go. but, it is nice to see the intensity level improving, and to see them at least creating chances for goals.
they are going in the right direction. and it's nice to see the progression over the last few games. in his post game interview, david was clearly disappointed, but knew there were positives to take away from it.
a few weeks ago, they didnt' even have that. now, fingers crossed for his ankle playing the whole game and the flight tomorrow. i hope it's not effected too much.

Exciting game and a lot of positives for LA in terms of attack and some link ups. It might have turned out different if that lad Jazic had been able to stay on the defense was a bit of a shambles after he left not
that that explains them coughing up that first goal. That was an
embarrassinly bad strike to result in a goal it was basically a worm
burner.
Felt for our lad Becks. Theres no way he was ready for 90 he
limped off and he had run out of puff pretty much a good 30 miutes
before the end. I would say he won't be able to play much for England and I would say flying after pushing the ankle so much further than it was ready to go will cause issues.
Could happily kill the Fox commentators what absolute muppets can't they find some people who know something about the sport! They acted like Becks should score from a free kick every game and they don't seem to understand that setting up 3 of your sides goals and most of their attacking plays is better than a B grade performance. Muppets.
Think its too late for LA on the play offs but they'll do better next year. They don't have enough games in hand to make up the amount they are lagging. The lad will be disappointed but he can't turn it all around when hes not even match fit even though he has
a heart as big as a whale and he certainly tried.
