England v Germany Preview

You can view a match preview online here. David Beckham is expected to play in what will be his 97th appearance for England, some pundits are tipping him to start but it remains unconfirmed. Either way let’s hope England win and that Becks has a great game with no ill-effects!

Television details – In the UK the match which kicks-off at 8PM BST will be aired live on BBC One. In the US the game will screen on FSC at 5PM ET (there is a 2 hour delay)

Newcastle’s Steven Taylor who has received his first England call-up for the match against Germany has thanked David Beckham for taking him under his wing you can read his comments here.

Also, it’s a Wednesday and Wednesday’s are David Beckham’s Soccer USA day so just a reminder that you can see the UK show at 7.15PM on Channel Five and the US show will air at 7PM on FSC and be available shortly after via MLSnet.com.

In other news, former Real Madrid Manager, Fabio Capello has given an interview in which he has claimed that the decision to side-line David Beckham was not his. He also mentions that when he arrived Real Madrid had a very difficult dressing room with a number of factions in conflict you can read his comments, online here.
