David Beckham half-time guest
David Beckham will be joining the ESPN commentary team at half-time during the broadcast of tomorrow's Super Clasico between the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA. According to ESPN, Becks "will discuss a wide range of topics as well as provide some insight on game action." The game kicks off at 11PM ET/8PM PT - more details online here. Here's wishing him all the best with his recovery. I hope England's 3-0 win over Russia which gives their Euro 2008 chances a big shot in the arm will have cheered him up. He'll be really happy for the boys!
Congrats to Becks who was named amongst People magazine's best dressed of 2007. Of course!
For any fans in Korea, Motorola are running a contest called 'Become Beckham' featuring Becks online here. At least I think that is what the site is about, it features some slick flash but no new photos.

I doubt Beckham will get a word in cos Eric Wynalda never shuts up. One good thing about Beckham being a guest is Wynalda probably won't spend the entire game bagging the Galaxy like he did during the last game ESPN2 broadcast.

Julie, if you are around I haven't been able to get a good link yet unfortunately but you can follow the match online via sopcast you can download sopcast here. and then watch channel 14391 by putting sop://broker1.sopcast.com:3912/14391 in the address/channel space

It's good you didn't get up in the middle of the night as Becks only gave an interview at half-time in the end and the game well it wasn't great as the scoreline shows :)
