The Treble
Here's one for all the Manchester United fans. Two clips from the official history of Manchester United DVD about the season the club won the historic treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League. David Beckham was central to this magnificent achievement and you can see some of his wonderful goals and assists as well as a brief interview in clip 2. A few screen caps are in the gallery.
Update - Sky news are reporting that Ted Beckham is on the mend and doing well which is wonderful news. Reassured by this, David and Victoria Beckham have flown out of London today to return home to LA. Simon Oliveira, David Beckham's spokesman, told ITN, "Ted's much better now. They wouldn't be going otherwise."
The LA Galaxy play the Columbus Crew at 5pm ET today, match preview here. The match will be televised on HDNet and MLSlive TV. They have won their last two matches and so are going for the hat-trick! Go Galaxy! update - They won 2-1! Hat-trick! The match report is online here.

After adding my latest disgusted with the media tirade in your last post, it's the perfect remedy to come see these great old clips and photos! Becks has written about how much fun he had joining in those casual beach football games in Brazil (I think Brazil?). And the photos of a healthy Ted are just what the doc ordered ;-) .

F**k pardon my language but the G's win 5 from 23 and then win 3-3!! It's like when you pronounce someone dead and then as you are walking awy you hear something that tells you they are still alive!!!!!! There's like a glimmer of hope for them now. At least it keeps things interesting this weekend is going to be massive!!
