Down Under tour a big success
David Beckham and the LA Galaxy's Down Under tour has been a huge success, with thousands of satisfied fans having enjoyed their visit. Above is a clip of a longer post-match interview that David Beckham gave, as well as a montage of some of the memorable moments from the Down Under tour!
In the clip Becks mentions that he has bronchitis and also that he took a hit to the chest in the friendly against Sydney FC and so was experiencing some pain. However, The Sun now reports that Becks had in fact broken a rib during the Sydney game. Let's hope he feels better soon.
Ka kite ano Becks
It's next stop Vancouver for David Beckham. He will meet up with Victoria and the Spice Girls for the first concert of their reunion tour, and according to The Mirror will act as back-stage photographer! He winged his way out of Wellington New Zealand this afternoon local time. Above is a clip of David Beckham arriving at the post match party last night before heading to the airport today. There are also photos in the gallery. Let's hope he has a chance to have a well earned break now and a chance to recuperate.
Christmas with Becks
BBC Radio 2 will air a special programme on Christmas day featuring David Beckham talking to Kate Thornton. You can submit questions to be asked on the show, just go here and they are also taking song suggestions, if there is a song that you associate with Becks you can ask them to play it.Most Fascinating

Hmmm I will have to have a think and see if I can come up with some good questions to submite for the BBC thing. It would be nice to see him asked something new as these days when I listen to interviews I'm always thinking... I know that, yep I knew that too lol :)

It was a wonderful tour and the lad made a lot of people happy. I hope he can kick back for a bit now. I guess he won't have another game until February now? Is that right Anna?

Galaxy23 - The BBC usually put their radio shows online so you should be able to listen to it once you're awake :)

By the way, I'd just like share this because I'm just so happy! LOL! I got an early Christmas present yesterday, a "got beckham?" t-shirt which I've been planning to buy online... I screamed when my officemate gave it to me, I forgot I was at the office during office hours haha!

Poor David! I can't believe he made all those appearances and played the whole match in New Zealand with a broken rib. He really is a super trooper but he needs to take better care of himself
