LA Galaxy General Manager, Alexi Lalas has reportedly said, "If we had it to do over again, the Chelsea game and the trip to Colorado (for the MLS All-Star game), we wouldn't have done it" suggesting that the club realises now that these decisions have impacted on David Beckham's recovery time-table. Lalas also said that Becks won't play until he's 100 percent healthy, "We don't want to fall into this trap of trying to appease everybody and aggravate the injury... If he's constantly playing catch up, he'll be no good to the Galaxy and we'll suffer on and off the field. It's a long-term play here" source.
