Beckham assures England coach Capello he's fit to face Switzerland
(Source: The Canadian Press) LONDON - David Beckham has assured England coach Fabio Capello he's fit and hoping to be selected for his 100th game for his country against Switzerland next week.
The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder has been training with Arsenal to get in shape for the Feb. 6 match at Wembley, and also get ready for the start of the MLS season in March.
There is speculation, however, that Capello won't select someone who is not currently playing competitive soccer and may instead go for Chelsea's Shaun Wright-Phillips or Tottenham's Aaron Lennon on the right side of midfield.
"I'm as fit as I can be. I'm fit and sharp and I'm ready to be selected," Beckham told BBC World on Tuesday. "Hopefully I've worked hard enough this month to get myself picked in the squad."
"I have been training with one of the fittest teams in Europe, I've done everything possible to be fit and I am without doubt ready for it, but it's out of my hands now."
Beckham is currently in Brazil where he plans to open a professional sports complex under his name.

One fan pointed out that he looks to have new tats, does anyone have any info on that?

i was just on sites looking at pictures of becks in brazil and it seems that he has a new tatoo could you add some pictures and do you know if there has been anything on realeased about the new tatoo

I also noticed a new tatoo.not is possible.I are fans of Becks but not love his tatoos. He has a beautiful body, because dirty?. oh no not a new one! i adore david and will defend him on anything, but i dont understand his infatuation. that arm had always been the clean arm, and i was hoping it would stay that way. i knew once he got the "sleeve" on the other arm it was only a matter of time before he was covered!
please dont cover up that beautiful body of yours david!

I have the exact same thoughts Loradena! I always worry whenever he has too long a break from playing that he will get another tattoo. I told my husband at the end of the Galaxy season that I hope he did not come back with a whole leg covered after so much time off!! This new one seems even darker than the others, but you're right, its his choice, he does enough to make others happy...I do like the t-shirt though, it keeps his wife close.

Yes, I guess that's a new tattoo on his left arm. It's more crowded now... it's starting to look like his right arm. But what interests me more is the t-shirt he's wearing. Victoria naked plus the message. What's that tell you?

Hey guys,
yes he has got a new tatoo...for anybody who hasn`t notice it it is on the left arm (it is a little bit like the big one on the right arm which is "closing his arm fully"). does look like he wants to makethe left arm the same as on the other site or like rumours will say more like michael scofield from the famous serie "prison break", but we`ll see what he will comment on that.
My opinion it does look nice but i think he is getting a step to far...it did look great before but now it is alittle bit to much because you can`t see his beauty which is hidden behind the tatoos:(

The Times said the Holy War to today David.In fact, the Times writes to Capello .The article says that Beckham is good footballer, is nice man and writes in italian: Una bella figura .This Italian word has different meanings, the Times on this occasion wanted to say to Capello . that Becks is a beautiful statues. did not believe that the Times had both perfidious, irony bad.I hope that Capello not listen to anyone and he has the courage to call David 100 and ++++ macth. In England to celebrate a funeral to Becks, I have really angry with the press .. vorrei precisare che david per me' e' l'uomo dei miei sogni ma spesso i sogni sono migliori della realta'.detto questo credo da tifosa di calcio che david non merita la nazionale perche' a differenza di tutti i suoi colleghi calciatori che sacrificano la loro vita per il calcio, con sudore e rinuncie ,lui invece fa' la bella vita andando a destra e a manca per il mondo vuoi come ambasciatore sia per promuovere le sue varie attivita',david a perso il privilegio di essere un calciatore quando a barattato la sua carriera per un mucchio di soldi come se gia' non ne' avesse abbastanza e fautrice di tutto questo e stata la sua mogliettina che l'ho ha coinvolto nella bella giostra chiamata hollywood,ormai la loro unione e basata sul profitto e non sul vero amore insieme sono una societa' non una famiglia ognuno immerso nella propia vita in stati diversi .ormai david a deciso di fare l'imprenditore di se' stesso non il calciatore se' fosse stato cosi' sarebbe dovuto rimanere in europa dove il calcio e vero non in america che con tutto rispetto non ne capisce e mai ne capira' di calcio.quindi concludo dicendo che saro' sempre una sua fans ma mi ha molto deluso nel profondo perche' ha peccato di molta avidita' chiamata dio denaro.
