David's Participation Against Dallas Confirmed
David's participation in the upcoming Galaxy charity match against FC Dallas has been confirmed. Capello already stated that either he or his associate would check on David's fitness, perhaps even in person during this game. It will be held at Pizza Hut Park and if there are any television broadcasts, we will post links and info here. Source
UNCONFIRMED Football Buzz
Look for Spain's two powerhouse teams, defending champion Real Madrid and archrival Barcelona, to be playing as many as three games apiece in the U.S. this summer, with the majority of the matches against Major League Soccer opponents.
The league was close to finalizing details of Barcelona's visit, or visits, by Coach Frank Rijkaard's squad. Real Salt Lake earlier had confirmed that it would be one of Real Madrid's opponents, and the Galaxy could be another.
If so, it would provide David Beckham with the unique chance of having played for Real Madrid against the Galaxy and for the Galaxy against Real Madrid. Source
From Body Art to Egg Art
For those interested in the art that adorns David's body, his tattoo artist Louis Molloy has teamed up with designer Henry Holland and chocolatier Thorntons to produce designer Easter Eggs. Sales of the eggs raise money for a children's charity. If anybody wants a work of art by the person who placed such permanent art on Becks, and to donate to charity in the process, this is one to consider! I haven't seen any pictures of Molloy's egg, so I'm not sure if it bears any resemblence to the tattoos we've come to know and...love or hate. We can only hope. More here
Becks: The Next Top Chef
Gordon Ramsay, TV chef, has pledged to turn Becks into a top cook.
The 40-year-old chef, who was a footballer with Glasgow Rangers as a youngster, explained: “David absolutely loves his food.
“You’d be surprised, but Victoria’s a real foodie too. David has mentioned a few times he would love to be able to cook properly.
“I think he could be very good and I wouldn’t hesitate to give him a helping hand in the kitchen.”
[...]
“Gordon will show Becks some storming dishes which he knows will really impress his pals.
“And the dishes will be quite easy so Victoria and even their boys can help join in making them.”

Becks Blogs...
c/o DavidBeckham.com, David's latest blog post:
Hi everyone,
It’s great to be back in LA.
I really enjoyed the tour to Asia. It was a great chance for the team to bond and get our fitness levels up before the new season. It was also a chance for Ruud Gullit and the coaching staff to get some of their tactical ideas across and I think we played some great soccer.
We’ve now only one friendly left against FC Dallas until the new MLS season begins at the end of the month. Obviously, I didn’t get to play there last season, so I’m really looking forward to the match. Dallas has such a rich sporting history with the Cowboys of the NFL and the Mavericks in the NBA, so it’ll be great to go there and play their soccer team.
Anyway, that’s all for now.
Speak to you soon
David
