Galaxy vs. Hong Kong Result
Unfortunately the Galaxy lost their match to Hong Kong Union on penalties. The match ended 2-2 after a goal by Alan Gordon and a successful PK by Becks. PKs followed, and Becks converted his, as did 3 other Galaxy players. The 5th Galaxy penalty missed, giving the home team the victory.

The Galaxy left for Los Angeles today (the 10th in local time) and will resume preparations for their season, with one more pre-season match to go.

Beckham Not Injured
Astute viewers noticed Becks limping a bit during yesterday's match, but don't worry. He has assured the press it's not another injury. He merely took another knock to the right thigh that was sore after being kicked hard during the Shanghai match. It's just a bruise.

Becks for Breakfast
And for a bit of fun, here's a quirky tidbit: Travelodge in the UK polled 2,500 Britons to determine why the practice of breakfast in bed is declining. As part of the poll they asked which celebrities with whom they'd like to share breakfast in bed. Becks came in #2 behind Johnny Depp.
