Galaxy's Final Match in Asia
Final Match of the Asian Tour
The Galaxy will face Hong Kong Union in the final match of the Asian tour tonight (technically tomorrow!). The match will be broadcast live on FSC at 3am ET.
Take into account that those in areas observing daylight savings on March 9th will have to set their clocks ahead at 2am local time. (2am local time becomes 3am local time.) I will admit this completely confuses me for the game time.
FSC will air the match on the west coast (USA) at 11pm on March 8th--so that is 11pm tonight on the west coast. This predates daylight savings, and given the time difference, leads me to think the match time is already corrected for daylight savings time and will be 2am ET (which will appear as 3am when the clocks go forward)/11pm PT. Confused yet?? ;) ET and PT are 3 hours apart, so count up from 11pm. Check the channel at 2am ET, worst case scenario you have to come back in 1 hour.
If you cannot watch the game on FSC, you should be able to watch it online. FSC is commonly picked up on peer-to-peer via TVU Networks. I posted thorough information on how to watch FSC on TVU's site for the last match, but here's a recap:
1) Visit www.tvunetworks.com
2) Click "watch TV"
3) When prompted, install the plugin
4) Use the lefthand channel list to find channel "soccer" (usually #21500)
Alternatively, download the software onto your computer, install, open, and find channel "soccer" / 21500.
Other options for watching the match online will appear here, if there are any.
Beckham in Perfect Shape for England?
ESPN published a largely speculative article about David's 100th cap and Capello's upcoming fitness assessment (the Dallas match). Much of the article echoes what Franco posted yesterday. However, there a couple additional quotes of interest from Becks about his century.
"Being a proud Englishmen, it's something that I've always wanted to do since I was a young boy."
[...]
"It would be a proud moment if I did that but at the moment I'm working hard on my fitness and working hard with the Galaxy and if I get the 100th cap then great."

Dead Leg No Further Problem
On the subject of David's problem with dead leg during the last match, he's doing fine and was back in training for tonight's game. During the media-attended training, he showed no discomfort as he practiced with his team. (Source)

Thanks Dina, finally we have succeeded in seeing the match, 2 to 2 thanks to the penalty of Becks.Samuele thinks that, Becks has had a injury, because when the match is concluded him to touch the rigt side, and also because, he was to earth, and Gullit(worried) was near to David, I have not seen the scene, because in that moment I had estranged from the video,I hope that Sam to have mistaken conclusion .Ciao everybody Loredana,Samuele,Gabriel

Not to worry Loredana, it was just another knock to the thigh that was tender from the Shanghai match. End result is that it's bruised, but not another injury.
