Hong Kong press conference

With the next match only scheduled for tomorrow we still have feed all the fans a little something :).
David gave talked about more 100th cap stuff during a press conference today in Hong Kong. He feels confident that his fitness level is at the level England needs. Here are a few quotes given to the Hong Kong media:
"I've played three games so far now and I've got through them all. Slight injury but that's not a problem,"
"Fitness-wise I'll be perfect but it's about performing and hopefully I'll do that."
Capello said earlier this week that he will be assessing David's fitness level during L.A. Galaxy's match against Dallas later this month. On this, he has this to say:
"It doesn't change the way I go into the game. But that's what he said to me anyway. I know that from a conversation I had with him,"
"He said once I'm back playing and if I'm fit and if I'm playing well enough, he will pick me. What happened with the first game of him taking charge, I hadn't played any games and he explained that to me."
When the media questioned him about the effect his recent injury will have he said this:
"It's nothing serious, I'll be able to play on Sunday," ..."It's an injury where you have to be careful not to do too much on it after it's happened."
Further on his dream of reaching a 100th cap, he continued:
"As a young boy I always wanted to play for my country, always wanted to captain my country and I always wanted to reach 100 games," ... "It would be a proud moment."
"I believe I can play for my country for a good few more years yet,"..."That's just me being honest. I believe I can still play at that level. The standard is obviously a bit different in the US but it's not as low as everybody thinks. We've got some good players and we play some good football."
"We'll just have to wait and see, but I believe I can play for my country for a good few years."
Rumors & non-soccer news
It wouldn't be a real "franco" udpate without a bit of this so if this isn't your cup of tea, you're free to stop reading here and go play in the forum or the gallery where I will be adding some recently released pics to the Hong Kong section :)
Extreme Home Makeover
The Mirror wrote today that Beckham will be appearing on Extreme Home Makeover on UKTV on march 24th, at the time of writing, I didn't research if this episode was already aired in the USA or if it will be aired around the same time, anyhow, keep an eye out for it :). Check the source for a preview description of his appearance.
David Tips Big
If you happen to be waitress / waiter and you ever get the chance to serve David, if you manage not to pass out, you might want to make an extra effort and do some of your best work. David apparently is a big tipper but a recent $1,000 tip left after a $100 meal has a bunch of site talking today. The Digital Spy wrote:
"Waitress Claudia Belden is quoted as saying: "David only drank mineral water. He signed autographs for anyone who asked. He smelled so nice! I hugged him so tight and he didn't mind at all."
Beckham's bill amounted to $100, but the former Manchester United midfielder was in generous mood, leaving behind $1,000.
"David certainly tips well, usually because of good service," said Beckham's spokesman."

Franco thanks for the news, The waitress is very fortunate, as many women pay to see him, instead she has been lucky enough to receive the money.Fingers cross for the 100 cap.PS Franco you are quiet, because gossip makes Becks life, and that the waitress makes me smile, I hate when the newspaper write slander on him and his family.Loredana,Samuele,Gabriel
