Becks Blogs After Game
After the game David posted this blog on davidbeckham.com:

Hello everybody,

Well, as I’m sure you know, I was picked for Fabio Capello’s England squad for the game against France tonight, which was a great feeling.

As an England player I’ve been lucky enough to participate in three World Cups, two European Championships and captain England, but I still have that excited, proud feeling now when I’m told that I’ve been selected, and this time was no different. For me, there’s no greater honour than representing your country and although you know I hate to lose, tonight still remains a very special moment in my life.
A year ago, I never thought I’d make 95 caps, let alone 100, so it was an honour to play and make my 100th appearance against one of the best teams in the world. It was a very special feeling to be out on that pitch tonight. Not only was it great to start the game and get my 100th cap, more importantly it was great to be out playing for England again.
There wasn’t any shirt swapping from me, even though France’s William Gallas went to swap at the end, I had to tell him I wanted to keep this one, in fact I’m keeping all of my England kit from this special match.
I would love to continue to play for England beyond this game. I don’t want to just play this match, get my 100th cap and then retire, if I’m fit, working hard and playing well I think I can still bring something to the squad.

Finally, I would like to thank everybody for their congratulatory messages as I’ve reached this amazing landmark, I wouldn’t be here without the incredible love and support of my family and friends, and of course all of you that have supported me. Thank you very much.

Take care

David

I had a mixed feeling after the game. I am happy for Becks finally get this milestone, but disappointed that England lose which spoiled Becks 100th cap party. I hope David carring on the international duty. Fingers crossed.

I found that those English press are the worst in the world. I hate to see there were so many negative articles on Becks future internation career this morning after the poor performance of England team. I don't understand why those rubbish writer just pick up David for the whole team's failure and calling on Becks to quit the international career. Why don't they look at those others who were regard as world class players in the team. No one was great last night. Why the media just focus on Becks. They often talking about Bentenly as a good replacement for Becks. I don't think so, if you looking at his performance last night. There is no one better than Becks at that position. I hope Capello will not affect by those negative media on his decison on Becks future. God bless Becks. Keep on going and go far beyond the 100th cap.
