LA Galaxy vs. SJ Earthquakes
Tonight the Galaxy have their home opener against the newly-reformed expansion team San Jose Earthquakes--where, among others, Frank Yallop and Joe Cannon have found a home. The rivalry between the two teams is no secret, so it should be an interesting night of soccer! Let's hope the Galaxy are able to put in a better performance than against the Rapids.
Kickoff: 10.30pm ET (7.30pm PT)
You can watch it live on TV on ESPN2 or Deportes.
You can listen to English audio on LAG and Spanish radio on KLOK; links to both should be available under the SJ @ LA listing here.
Watching online: It's too early to know what sources will be available but when they are listed, they will be listed here. To watch, you will need whatever software is listed at that time, which can be downloaded here.
According to above, the only available stream is via the Sopcast software, and the stream can be found here or here. Install Sopcast and click either of those links to launch it. I can't guarantee it'll work but that channel is a pretty regular feature for Galaxy games.

Congratulations to the LA Galaxy who beat their old rivals (even if they're newly-reopened) San Jose 2 to 0. David scored the first goal (his very first league goal) on a break from a Donovan pass, and the second goal came from Donovan after a pass from Becks. 1 goal and 1 assist each. That is what i am talking about! The Galaxy played great today. I loved the connection that Beckham had with Donovan tonight. If they play like that all season the Galaxy will win the league this year. Good goal from Becks. Great job on the website Dina

And it was a great goal too, just posted a video of it, I like how they show the different angles, you can see how great a goal it was when they show it from the back, well placed right between the legs. And what great passes too! Great game for David!

It takes a real man...to bend (it like Beckham)...to a club just joined...I believe it is grand that Donovan gets his dues as a committed player...do we love that Beckham has graced us with his presence...hell ya!!!!...(Thankful that he brought his family to America)...to see the commaradery was spectacular...i am hoping this is a beginning to an awe inspiring season...Go Los Angeles Galaxy...Thank You Beckham Family for your sacrifices!!!
