England won their match against Kazakhstan 5 to 1. Congrats!

This was David’s 106th cap – which ties Bobby Charlton’s record. Only two players have more games for the national team than David now: goalkeeper Peter Shilton with 125 and defender Bobby Moore, Charlton’s teammate on England’s 1966 World Cup-winning team, with 108.

David came in to replace Theo Walcott with 12 minutes left to play. He was warmly greeted by the crowd of 89,107. He rewarded the fans with his trademark freekick that led to Wayne Rooney’s second goal of the game and England’s fourth.

David rocks, I’m sure he will woon eclipse Shilton’s and Morre’s records.

We have restructured here at DBFO lately to bring you a site that is updated every day (or we’re trying hard to) and also to update the gallery every day (or even several times a day). Here’s to hoping you notice the changes and appreciate them :)

Here is the gallery for the match, more pictures are being added as they are found.
