Seedorf: More on Beckham
I posted a link to an interview with AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf the other day. I’ve found a more extensive version of the interview with complete comments on David & how AC Milan can revitalize him here.

Odd Comment from Ancelotti
I’m sure he’s trying to sound enigmatic and slightly foreboding about the whole thing, but AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has made a statement that comes across slightly more practical joke than anything else. Still, he’s right – one way or another, none of us know what’s in store for Becks in Milan!

“David Beckham has said that he can’t wait to train with us. This makes me happy. He is welcome, but he doesn’t know what awaits him here.” Source

Byrne & Beckham Part Ways
Diane timed a question about this story in a comment to us very well, so thank you Diane! Yesterday I noticed a new version of a story I quoted (my source was ESPN, this was the Daily Mail) that confirmed, at least as far as the Daily Mail goes, Terry Byrne and David have parted ways. Short of an official statement from Becks, Byrne, or 19 Entertainment, I can’t say for certain the circumstances surrounding the split. I’ll keep looking, however; it’s the sort of thing you’d expect to be a bigger story than it is thus far…

For those who don’t know, Terry was David’s longtime football adviser/manager and possibly the only element of the management company 19 Entertainment (owned by Simon Fuller) that was dedicated to the sport versus Brand Beckham. He was also, according to all sources, a good friend of David’s. Terry has returned to Britain. Diane raises some excellent questions in her comment on yesterday’s post, so feel free to reply or hop over to the forum for further discussion! Meanwhile, we’ll let you know more details as the story develops.

£1m & Going, Going…
An Australian bid (from someone who deals in Beckham memorabilia) on David’s childhood home has set the new price at £1 million. The house’s current owner says she doesn’t care about David Beckham and was unaware there was even a link between him and her home…but somehow, with bidding up that high, I very much doubt that. ;)

Find out lots more about the sale & the current owner’s thoughts on David’s drawing power here.

NEW Gallery: David’s Childhood Home
The gallery elves have given us a new gallery to match this story. Lots of pics of the home and one of Becks as a wee boy here.

No Buyers for Becks’s Car
Everything Beckham’s up for grabs these days. The Volkswagen Golf David owned in 1994 prior to debuting for Manchester United is on sale for a mere £1,995. Unfortunately the owner can’t sell it as nobody believes David would have ever driven a Volkswagen Golf…forgetting, of course, that he started with humble roots!

Though David’s name is in the DVLA logbook as having owned the car, buyers remain skeptical. At £1,995 it’s a bit more reasonable to “collect” than a £1,000,000 house – so if you’re looking to grab a slice of Beckham history, find out more here.

Or, Buy a T-Shirt
While this has nothing to do with anything David’s previously owned, I heard on the radio today that t-shirt company Who Are Ya Designs has released a new women’s fit t-shirt with a playful twist for lady Beckham fans. The blue shirt reads simply “I Scored with Beckham”. I thought it might appeal to some here, and I placed an order for one today! If you’re interested you can check out the t-shirt here.
