***SPECULATION OPINION BLURB*** David Beckham: Chelsea Bound?

Update:
With Carlo Ancelotti set to leave AC Milan and take the reigns at Chelsea, word is that he wants to bring David Beckham to London with him according to The Daily Mirror.

Recommendation:
It makes sense, but, it’s a British tabloid rag more-or-less. What is known for sure though is that Becks loves Ancelotti and Ancelotti returns the love for Becks. The experiment in L.A has been a resounding failure, but a return to English soccer to help Chelsea take down Manchester United is all Beckham could have ever wanted. Source

Becks to front Malaria charity

FOOTY ace David Beckham will front new Malaria charity advert during this years Champions League final.

Charity Malaria No More will also be the recipient organisation for the Sky Red Button campaign during the UEFA Champions League Final.

The charity was selected because of it’s links with sport which they hope will help public awareness in the UK that malaria is a preventable and treatable disease.

The ad will be shown in the run up to the match and shows Beckham kicking a penalty into a net less goal to highlight the urgent need for mosquito nets to help prevent the spread of malaria.

Beckham said: “It’s truly incredible to think we can stop this killer disease forever and it’s such a simple ask, for less than the cost of a football you can protect a family from dying.

“I urge the UK public to get behind the Malaria No More UK campaign to buy a net, save a life and make malaria no more.” More

East Peckham children taught sign language by David Beckham

A PUPPET of David Beckham taught children basic sign language at an East Peckham pre-school.

Children who go to Rainbow Pre-school were visited by Marjory Pillinger, of hard of hearing charity Hi Kent, as part of Deaf Awareness Week.

Charity chief executive John Clayton said: “There was a great response from the children who were taught basic sign language by puppets, including one of a footballer like David Beckham, and a pirate.

“The day was all about making them aware that there are some people who can’t hear, and teaching them that they communicate in other ways.” Source
